Dr George Thomas involved in the field of eye care – Ophthalmology in 1971. Dr George is specialised in glaucoma and he is active in participating for both local and international conferences to develop and upgrading himself.
Dr Zainal Mohamad

Subspeciality: Paediatric Ophthalmology; Refractive Surgery
With a deep desire to serve the public with eye problems, Dr Zainal took up ophthalmology to protect the vision of the future. He has vast experience in managing adult eye problems such as cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. He majors in Refractive Surgery performing Bladeless LASIK , ReLEx SMILE and PRK. He also specialized in Paediatric Ophthalmology which he is well versed in utilizing specialized equipment to diagnose and assess eye disorders in children, and regularly helps children to overcome problems in refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.

An experienced ophthalmologist who has an interest in neuro ophthalmology, orbit and vitreo-retinal, Dr Pall has carried out various treatment for diseases of the eye ranging from dry eyes and diabetic retinopathy to Glaucoma and Age-related Macular Degeneration.He keeps up to date with the advancement of technology, learning and utilising the latest treatment options, to ensure patients regain their vision quickly and comfortably.
Dr. Hari Krishnan
MBBS, DO, FRSH, FICS, FRCS, FRCOpth
Inspired by family members since he was young, Dr Hari Krishnan joined the medical profession in the 1970s, eventually becoming an ophthalmologist – a field he considered interesting yet demanding. Doing all that he could to help his patients, he chose to subspecialise in the vitreo-retinal, a field in which there was a need for more experts at the time.
Dr P Saraswathi

Subspeciality: Cornea and External Eye Disease
Dr P Saras specialised in cornea and external eye disease, managing conditions such as corneal ulcers, keratitis and contact lenses related disease in addition to cataract surgery. Registered with the National Specialist Registry Malaysia for Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, she has served in THONEH since 1993, and regularly participates in continuous medical education, attending various ophthalmology meetings and conferences to keep abreast with the new developments in treatment and surgical techniques.
Dato’ Dr. Linda Teoh

Dr Linda Teoh studied medicine at University of Malaya, and later completed her postgraduate training in Ophthalmology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She had her training in glaucoma at the New York Eye And Ear Infirmary, New York. She was commissioned as a captain and became a medical officer in the Malaysian Ministry of Defence. Dr Linda Teoh specialises in managing all types of Glaucoma (an eye condition that can lead to irreversible blindness), with medical treatment, laser treatment or surgery as the case requires. In addtion, she is experience with all types of cataract operations. Dr Linda is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Academy of Medicine of Malaysian and the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology. She has presented papers in many international and local conferences. Also, she was awarded the Darjah Johan Negeri by the Governer of Penang in 2008 and Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri by Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Penang, TYT Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas in 2016 for her contribution to medicine.
Dr. Gayatri Devi

Dr. Gayatri chose to subspecialise in Medical Retina as there was a dire shortage of such sub-specialists then and trained at the prestigious Oxford Eye Hospital. She is an eye surgeon who is especially attentive towards the ageing population, placing emphasis on treating Cataract, Age related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetic Retinopathy/Maculopathy as well as other diseases of the retina in addition to providing holistic and comprehensive eye care. She also truly believes in giving back to society by actively participating in public education, continuous medical learning and supporting charitable drives by THONEH.
Dr. Vijaya Mohan

Placing an emphasis on cataracts and conditions that affect children, Dr Vijaya Mohan’s experiences in Paediatric surgery helps the patients to overcome the problems such as squint. She does the refractive surgeries such as LASIK and ReLEx SMILE procedures to correct the patient’s vision and overcome the vision troubles too.
Dr. Lim Hsien Han

In addition to general ophthalmology, Dr Lim Hsien Han specialises in detecting and treating glaucoma, a condition which is caused by pressure build-up in the eyes. In line with his aim of preventing irreversible blindness, Dr Lim strives hard to ensure accurate diagnosis as well as effective treatment.
Dr. Muiz Mahyudin

After graduating from the University of Otago in 2001, Dr Muiz chose to specialise in ophthalmology in University Malaya and completed his Masters in 2010. Having worked as an ophthalmologist in various public hospital including the UiTM Medical Center, Hospital Sg Buloh and Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku Mizan, Dr Muiz is experienced in correcting refractive errors through the use of LASIK and ReLEx Smile. He also participates in medical studies, and is the current Treasurer of the Malaysian Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr Chong Yean Yaw

Dr. Choong Yean Yaw graduated from University Malaya. He had his general ophthalmic training in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and sub-specialised training in cornea, external eye diseases and refractive surgery in the Queen Victoria Hospital, the Corneo-Plastic Unit in East Grinstead, United Kingdom.
He provides comprehensive services in the field of cornea and external eye diseases and has special interest in managing complex ocular surface disorders, dry eyes and various types of refractive surgeries. He is also actively involved in teaching modern cataract surgery to ophthalmic community.
Datin Dr. Norela Salleh

A graduate of the St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, University of London 1986, Datin Dr Norela has worked with various hospitals including the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, Scotland, Central Middlesex Hospital and Bedford Hospital. She is experienced in major disciplines including general ICU, paediatric anaesthetics, obstetric anaesthetics and ophthalmic anaesthetics.
Dr. Ng Siew Guan

Dr Ng Siew Guan graduated from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia in 1996, and did her post graduate in Anaesthesiology & Intensive Care in UKM. She has worked in various hospitals across Malaysia including Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Hospital UKM, Hospital Seremban and Hospital Selayang. She is experience in various disciplines of anaesthesiology.
Prof Dato Dr Veera Ramani DPMP

Subspeciality: Corneal and Refractive Surgery
With over 30 years of experience in Corneal and Refractive Surgery, Prof Dato Dr Veera Ramani has carried out numerous cataract surgeries, including phacoemulsification and premium implants. With a special interest in cornea, she has pioneered in sclera corneal procedures for transplantation of cornea and management of keratoconus. Prof Dato Dr Veera Ramani does collagen cross-linking procedures, intra corneal rings insertion and lamellar keratoplasty. She also works on corneal problems and is recognised nationally and internationally. In refractive surgery she has been doing ReLEx SMILE, LASIK and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK). She manages corneal problem related to external eye diseases and dry eyes.
Dr Ho Shu Fen

Subspeciality: Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbit
An ophthalmologist with an interest in oculoplasty, lacrimal and orbit, Dr Ho is experienced not only in general ophthalmic procedures such as Argon Laser for diabetic retinopathy and YAG capsulotomy, but also in managing conditions around the eyeball itself. She helps patients overcome problems such as droopy eyelids, eye bags, scarring and watery eyes, and can treat and manage thyroid eye disease, orbital tumour and orbital floor fracture.
Dr Senthil Kumaran

Dr Senthil had corneal sub-speciality training in Saarland University Hospital, Germany. Mastering the skills in advances in cornea and refractive surgery: ALK, DALK, DMEK, LASIK and Amniotic Membrane Transplantation. Key areas of expertise are diagnosis and medical management of diseases of the lids, conjunctiva, cornea / sclera and anterior ocular segment. Dr Senthil exhibits unparalleled commitment to high quality eye care and treatment skills, and unequivocal desire to continually improve the quality of life of the patients.
